In response to God's grace, you are called to trust in Christ for salvation.

Once you turn from your sins and trust in Christ for your salvation, you meet yourself again as a child of God.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name. - John 1:12

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God. - Romans 8:16
